Chicken Tikka Masala


  1. 1lb chicken breast boneless cut to 3cm cubes
  2. 2tbspCJay’s Chicken Tikka Masala
  3. 2tbsplime juice
  4. ½ tsp salt
  5. 8oz sour cream
  6. 1 medium onion finely sliced
  7. 50g almond flakes
  8. 2 tbsp almond ground
  9. 5 garlic cloves thinly sliced
  10. 3tbsp butter
  11. 1/3 cup yogurt
  12. 1 tbsp tomato paste
  13. 4 tbsp cooking oil
  14. coriander leaves chopped to garnish


  • Rub the chicken with lime juice and salt.
  • In a bowl add CJay’s Chicken TikkaMasala 1tbsp oil, tomato paste and yogurt. Marinate the chicken overnight in the fridge.
  • Thread the chicken on skewers with spaces in between to cook well. Cook on grill over medium heat. Turn regularly to cook on all sides till tender.
  • Sautee onion, garlic in the oil, on low heat. Add remaining spices. Stir fry for two minutes. Add ¼ cup of water and stir.
  • Add sour cream and stir. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes on low heat.
  • Add ground almonds and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped coriander and flaked almonds.
